What is Gesture Motion?
If you are using a Nest Hub second-gen with Motion Sense enabled, it is possible to enable gestures to do actions immediately with your hub. Even you can enable Sleep Sensing to track your sleep and provides you more tips or insights to improve your sleep quality.
Motion Sense works with low-energy radar. It can detect movement including gestures and breathing. Motion Sense is not a camera, and when you enable it, no distinguishable images of person’s face or body are generated or used for gesture detection.
How to Enable Motion Sense
It is easy to enable Motion Sense on Nest Hub second gen, to start or to stop detecting movement. Motion Sense must be on to support Quick Gesetures and Sleep Sensing by following these steps:
- Go to the bottom of your Nest Hub second generation, and then swipe up.
- Launch the Settings and then choose Motion Sense.
