To do so, say “Okay Google” Hey Google” and then “Set <radio station> radio alarm for <select the time you like> tomorrow”. If your display is not connected to a Wi-Fi at the time of the media alarm, then it will sound a general alarm.
Alarm Sounds
Here are some notes to know when you want to play radio alarm on Nest Hub:
- The alarm sounds will be played from displays or speakers. The sound do not play on other devices such as TV or other speaker that connected with your display.
- You can change the alarm tones on your Nest once you set up an alarm. You cannot change general alarm tones on your speakers.
- The alarm will sound ten minutes if you do not turn it off.
Additionally, you can play radio or Spotify through a speaker group that you have set before. If the tutorial above does not work, then you can reboot or reset your device.
Can You Use Media Alarm for Speaker Group?
Sadly, you cannot set up a media alarm on your speaker group. Google Nest Hub does not support this feature. Alternatively, it is possible for you to set up scheduled custom routines.
From there, you can set certain time for your speakers. So, it will play music. Other than that, add the action manually by choosing “Try adding your own”, after that type “Play <title> on <name of speaker group>”. You can take a benefit from setting up scheduled routines on your Nest.
